DESCRIPTION
This universally applicable power supply is fitted with a variable transformer which supplies a continuously variable output voltage between 0 and 250V AC at 3A or 4,5A. A further transformer provides a constant output voltage of 230VAC resp. 240VAC at 2A.
Output 1 The variable transformer is on the left hand side of the unit, together with a voltmeter and ammeter and the output socket (as standard a German Schuko socket (230V), other sockets are available on request.
The variable range of the transformer is divided into two ranges. The selector switch is on the left of the adjustment knob and can be used to select either 0...125V or 125...250V. The output voltage at the socket can be set within these ranges. The output is protected by a fuse. Voltage and current are shown on separate meters.
Output 2 (230VAC resp. 240VAC/ 2A) is situated in the middle of the unit. This output is protected by a fuse mounted above the socket.
Output 3 is on the right hand side of the unit in the area "laboratory power supply". The output voltage can be set between 0...30V DC using a tandem potentiometer and the voltage can be read on a voltmeter. The output current can be set between 0...3A with the potentiometer mounted below the ammeter.
Output 4 consists of four series connected AC voltages. By appropriate connection AC voltages of 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21 or 24V at 2A are available.
Output 5 is on the right hand side of the unit and provides a constant stabilised 5V/1A for operating electronic circuits. A green LED indicates that the output voltage is available.
Output 6 this can be used as a continuity tester. The sockets are mounted on the bottom right hand side of the unit. This output is polarised (+ and -) so that diodes and other polarised components can be quickly tested. A buzzer (15mA) indicates continuity.
